Very kind employees and a perfect atmosphere. Feels like a pizza place should. The pizza was good, not great. My wife and I agree that there’s just too much cheese on the pizza. If it had less cheese I think it would make the pizza much better. Still good and we’ll be going back!

Ordered the pizzas. They were fantastic, breadsticks were a little overcooked, dipping sauce is definitely homemade, and delicious Very reasonable

This was our first time here & the food was excellent! I had Alfredo cheese pizza & my husband had a meat & cheese calzone (I don't remember exactly what kind). I would love to go back often, but the cost was a little pricey, especially for lunch. I can't say enough how great the food was!

So if you have lived in Calhoun, GA for a few decades, you likely remember this place as simply "Gondolier's" which had pretty good pizza but a reputation for poor service stemming from an often misunderstood owner who's brusque personality could sometimes sour the experience. However, the food was quite good. Now days, Gondola Pizza does not deserve the hate it gets in the comments, at least not that my family has witnessed. This is by far the best gyro around with outstanding tzatziki. But the menu is deep with Greek and Italian options like salads chock full of fresh veggies, olives, and feta, baked pasta dripping in cheesy goodness, and pizza that is unique and delicious. You won't leave hungry either, as the portions are stupid-big; you will need a to-go box. And If you do not like the in-house service, try ordering take-out or delivery instead. Give Gondola another shot.
